ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Agriculture Department typically focuses on providing students with hands-on, practical knowledge and skills related to farming, horticulture, animal husbandry, and other agricultural sciences. The curriculum includes a mix of theoretical instruction and applied experience to prepare students for careers in various agricultural sectors. Such as;

1. Farm Manager: Overseeing daily operations of a farm or agricultural business.
2. Agricultural Technician: Supporting agricultural research and development
3. Horticulturist: Specializing in growing and managing plants and gardens.
4. Agricultural Sales Representative: Selling farm equipment, seeds, or chemicals.

We also focus on skills development such as;

1. Problem-Solving: Addressing challenges in crop production, animal care, and farm management.
2. Technical Proficiency: Operating and maintaining agricultural machinery and technology.
3. Communication: Working effectively with other professionals in the agricultural field.
