Muraga T.T.I. was established in 2017. It is a tertiary institution established by the Government of kenya, under the ministry of Education, State Department of Vocational & Technical Training.

The Institute Examinations are set and graded by The Kenya National Examination Council (K.N.E.C.), TVET-CDACC, NITA and Kenya Accountants and Secretaries national Examinations Boards (KASNEB)
