The Hospitality Department is dedicated to training competent, service-oriented, and professional personnel for the hospitality and tourism industry. The department offers competency-based programmes that equip trainees with practical skills, customer service excellence, and industry-relevant knowledge required in hotels, restaurants, and related service sectors.
The department provides training in food production, food and beverage service, housekeeping, front office operations, and hospitality management. Emphasis is placed on hands-on practical experience, hygiene and safety standards, teamwork, and effective communication. This ensures that graduates are well prepared for employment, entrepreneurship, and career progression within the hospitality industry.
